Lily (II)

We continue with Lily.

In order to design her dress, we think about a stone.

Think about a stone for the design, it’ll help us in order to show the hardness of her personality (in the play’s beginning) and also it’ll help us address her difficult moviment.

In the middle of the play Lily will break and something will happen to expose her strength that she never experience before. This event will change her life and her personality forever.

We’ll try to show this in the costume.

We should show that this stone breaks and we start to use the colour red in order to show fire.

The dress should change in the middle of the play in order to show this important change in the character.

You remember in order to design it, we’ll think in : stone and fire.

The cloth of the dress is dense sackcloth.

In the next post I’ll show you my sketch and maybe it is similar to yours.

I look foward to the result.

See you soon 😉

……………………………………………..
